The wording of the package's description leaves some room for optimisation.

Upstream (the group Laszlo works in) thinks "no". I am sponsoring the package
since there is no hidden activity, and the contribution to the statistics is
completely voluntary, even the reminder can be switched off with a mere "touch".
This sounds fair enough to me.

I appreciated the separation of that counting facility into its own package
and anticipate its development into a PP-independent library.
