That might be the best solution. Closing it this way is not
satisfactorily but ok for me. However, the tags that was applied before
is very insulting.

Looks great. I have to see if that is related to the problem. Have to
dig through the two bug reports carefully. But reading it fast might
point to the problem and give a hint where to start with debugging.
There seems to be a long history with install-info.
