In squeeze, in fact all architecture-dependant packages are already
installable (except for kfreebsd-*). That is, the only non-installable
packages are packages with Architecture=all. These could be excluded, too,
from future releases by editing the Packages files for the different
architecture, if the release team wants to do that additional work.
BTW: these checks are now also enabled for stable updates and stable
proposed updates (http://edos.debian.net/edos-debcheck/stable.php,
scroll down the page).

If such an error occurs (two packages claiming the same path name) I
file a bug with severity=serious anyway. Still, it might be worthwhile
to announce this as a release goal, just to make it public that we
have performed this QA check.
