buildd : chroot / tty and nawk

Hi there,

  I am running into an issue, dicom3tools does not compile properly on
the buildd machine. The error is:

...
rm -rf transynu.h
nawk -f ../../.././libsrc/support/transyn.awk \
               role=extern outname=transynu
<../../.././libsrc/standard/transyn.tpl
>transynu.h
rm -rf sopclu.h
nawk -f ../../.././libsrc/support/sopcl.awk \
               role=extern outname=sopclu
<../../.././libsrc/standard/sopcl.tpl >sopclu.h
rm -rf elmconst.h
nawk -f ../../.././libsrc/support/elmdict.awk \
               role=constant outname=elmconst
<../../.././libsrc/standard/elmdict.tpl >elmconst.h
rm -rf strvalc.h
nawk -f ../../.././libsrc/support/strval.awk \
               role=declare outname=strvalc
<../../.././libsrc/standard/strval.tpl >strvalc.h
nawk: cannot open "/dev/tty" for output (No such device or address)
make[5]: *** [strvalc.h] Error 2
...

  Does anyone understand what this means ? If yes, what is needed to
get tty working (or tell nawk to not use it).

Thanks,
