Background:
gpesyncd is the "missing link" between opensync-plugin-gpe and
gpe-{calendar,contacts,todo}. opensync-plugin-gpe needs gpesyncd on
the machine that has the gpe-* sqlite databases.
Since I want to use gpe-calendar on my Openmoko Freerunner and sync
the calendar I need this package. I've built my preliminary package on
the Freerunner (!) and it works fine.

Description : synchronisation agent for GPE PIM data
gpesyncd synchronises PIM data by transforming vCards, vEvents, vTtodo and
iCals to the apropriate format in the SQLite database of the respective GPE
applications and vice versa.
.
gpesyncd exports and imports PIM data either to stdout or over tcp/ip.
It can also be used as a command line tool to access all the PIM data.
.
opensync-plugin-gpe needs gpesynd to run on the machine where the GPE
application data are stored.

gregor
