What about reading documentation instead of expecting that we feed you
everything?

$ dpkg -L dpkg |grep triggers
/usr/share/doc/dpkg/triggers.txt.gz

There's also man dpkg and man deb-triggers. And if some important information
is missing, we accept bugreports and will happily provide the missing bits
of information.
