I see. That's is good (and seems to work), but,
$ file /usr/lib/debug/usr/bin/audacious
/usr/lib/debug/usr/bin/audacious: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64,
version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux
2.6.8, not stripped
$ file /usr/bin/audacious
/usr/bin/audacious: ELF 64-bit LSB executable, x86-64, version 1 (SYSV),
dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.8, stripped
Kind of implies that it is an executable and at least I became confused.
A single sentence README would address the confusion of the ignorant!
