The Git website[0] seems to capitalise 'Git', as does the long
description for the git-core package[1], so I've left it capitalised
(though I agree it does seem unnatural).

I agree, and have changed the long description to fall more in line with
§6.2.3 of the Developers Reference.

I have uploaded a package for python-git, incorporating these changes to
'debian/control', to mentors.debian.net[2].
