Package: general
Severity: important

This problem occurs with the gnome pdf reader and xpdf, so i report to
"general". Sorry, if i got that wrong.

Xpdf for example gives me this error messages:
Error: Couldn't create a font for 'Courier'
and like the other pdf readers does not show monospaced fonts for
example in the "securing debian" pdf file.

This happens on a freshl installed system from netinstall with not to
much on it: I installed the "Desktop task" and xpdf, corefonts and a
few little things.

cheers
Matthias

It dissapeared after removing an old .xpdfrc in my home directory. This also fixes evince. I am very confused now, but can read pdfs.
