I second this.

Also. Those programmers are inventing wheels again, fsck. Why they don't
want to make (at least) C (at least gcc or tcc) compiler more efficient:
fast but with good optimization?

And this is not saying about portability of that userspace tools (see
klibc), usability, maintenance. Sigh.
