dictd: no activity last 12 months

there is no activity since 2005-12-20 (~12 months).

Latest version in testing/unstable is 1.10.2-3
but at upstream is 1.10.7 (with a lot of important improvements and 
bugfixes).

I already submitted a wishlist-bug 88 days ago, see
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=386390
but without reaction.

What are the usual possibilities to solve this problem?
