I see.  Since I was not certain about the current procedure, I asked in IRC,
and I was informed that "doing the upload is probably the correct way to
contact the release managers" in the devel channel.

I won't take a rejection as grief, but still had I not been told that
uploading was the right way, I'd have contacted you first.
