A bug in Knoppix is not a bug in Debian. While they use the same package format and may share source code at some point in time, the end result is not used in Debian and thus a bug in Knoppix is most likely knoppix-specific. When you get a change to try/install Debian, please feel free to write as many bugreports as you like!
