They're not very big and seem quite similar, but I've talked with upstream and he thinks it's better keep them separate. He doesn't plan to merge the tools upstream, if I understood correctly. I _could_ create a merged Debian package (biosdeco maybe?) to prevent some overhead (if most people think that would be a good idea), but per default I thought it'd be a better idea to keep them separated if upstream keeps them separated, too...
