It's not only GPL-incompatible, it is also ugly and actively
discouraged by most people. It's more or less a debt of history.
If it wasn't around for so long before people started to think about
free software, I doubt it would have gotten its blessing.

So its good for main, but please still try to convice everyone involved
to drop it.
