Suitable initramfs, yes. I'm fairly busy at the moment but I can
prepare something like this. When do you need it by (i.e. do you have
a NSLU2 already)?

Ask around if someone has a spare 2.5" drive from an old laptop and
get a 2.5" USB enclosure...
