Yes, but only after having run 'aptitude install aptitude perl'
with woody aptitude which did:
56 packages upgraded, 64 newly installed, 5 to remove and 547 not upgraded.
which was a non trivial upgrade.
So sarge aptitude was actually running on a smaller set of packages
where the perl modules cicular-dep was no more present.
