If you want to compile it yourself, try using the oldest development
system you can find, as I don't think gcc 3.x in unstable will be able to
compile such old code.

If you do not really need to compile it yourself, your best bet would
be to get libc4 from Debian 0.93R6 or any other old distro you can find.
