If i'm not mistaken, you could tag the bug etch, of course, this is a
very nasty/dirty way of getting the RC-free package actually in
testing, but IIRC until the program that manages testing knows about
versioned BTS, it would work for experimental, the other option is to
just tag the bug experimental and that should work as well, (on second
thoughts that latter would be extremely more perfered over the
former).
