Dear:Sir

On  April 18, 2004, at 5:00pm, at Holy  Name of Mary Parish Hall , 110 Grand Street, Croton N.Y. Boy Scout Gregory A. Zimei II, a member of Troop 28 in Croton-on-Hudson, New York, will be honored at a special court of honor for achieving the Eagle Scout Award, Boy  Scouting’s  highest honor. In your position, I know you recognize the importance of this achievement in this young man’s life.

To become an Eagle Scout, Gregory had to earn 21 merit badges (Gregory has to this date earned over 78) and served his troop in a variety of leadership roles. He also completed a community service project, a major landscaping and beautification of an area that faces a community park (Vassallo Park) which the community will enjoy for many years. He removed all wild growth, rocks, and debris, and planted   grass seed, over 100 plants, a large evergreen tree and put in a drainage system to prevent erosion. Wood chips were put around the new plants to make this area a sight to behold.

To make this ceremony even more special I would like to ask you for a letter and or certificate of recognition, or any other items you wish to present him. Please send your items to; Mr. A. Zimei   at   57 Whelan Ave. , Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y. , 10520 Phone: (914)271-3947 E mail   GZZOOM@ AOL.COM

Thank you so much for taking the time to help us honor this special young man.

Sincerely,

  1. Zimei
