Thanks for proving my point that things are not as easy as people
think. The maintainer scripts are full of calls to python (not
pythonX.Y), so a Dependency for python is needed as well. So this is -
for example - a package that needs _two_ python packags to be
installed. I suspect that some parts of the package being executed by
python2.1 and some others by python2.2 will introduce subtle problems
regarding database files.
I will try the version generated tonight in a test environment.
