Why is the shell invoked  by dpkg executing the .bashrc in the first place?
First of all .bashrc is not invoked if you call /bin/sh and neigher 

bash ./test.sh

nor 

./test.sh


(with test.sh beeing "#!/bin/bash\necho test" and .bashrc = echo bashrc) 

is execuring .bashrc
