The problem with choice 4, and to a lesser extent choices 1,2, and 5, is that 
they don't recognize the presence of the large group of people who think that 
the old Social Contract prohibits exactly the same things as the new.

Bizarrely, nobody has actually proposed a GR to *explicitly* allow non-free 
non-programs in Debian.  Although I'd oppose it, I'd be interested to see how 
it came out; it seems likely that it's worth voting on.
