While I understand that -uk is the correct name here, we shouldn't require 
users to be familiar with the distinction between ISO cc's, ISO language 
codes, and ICANN TLDs.

I propose that in package names, the three letter code should always be used 
for languages.

locale settings are less important, because beginner users would probably use 
some GUI to do administration (but it's be probably better to move to 3 
letters there, too. But becoming incompatible with other Linux distributions 
would not be worth it).
