I'm been in the NM process for about two years now while maintaining a relatively large number of packages and there's a few fair amount of people in #debian-devel and on pkg-gnome who do trust that I know what I'm doing. I really do appreciate all the people who regularly sponsor my packages without as much red tape as a regular NM would have to go through. This incident is just a minor hiccup that's been blown out of proportion, and there's not really much more blame that can be doled out (or point to doing so).
