Re: broken package dependencies, surgery on package database
I've tried equivs and I keep getting errors when I run
equivs-build on the ns-control file.
What I would like to do is:
o go into all of /var/lib/dpkg files and delete every
single reference to the appropriate i2c, lm-sensors
and the 2.4.23 kernel.
o go and delete all of the appropriate files from the
various places they're actually found
Assuming I don't miss something in /var/lin/dpkg,
should this work?
Right now the packaging database is non-functional --
how risky can it be?
