I'd suggest "lean menu and launcher panel written in Perl using GTK+
2" (drop the + and/or 2 at your convinience). At least to my ears
(non-native speaker), it sounds bad to say to you write something "in
GTK". You write in "programming language X", but not in "toolkit Y"
/methinks.
