installing in the desktop.

The packages could include the question : "Install in the desktop/menu?" 
and the answers "desktop/menu/both/none" that would be interpreted and 
executed by the desktopt manager (i.e. KDM would install the icon , if 
yes, in the KDE desktop, GDM in Gnome and so on). This would be a 
universal trans-desktop language.
