Because pressing enter twice and entering a random password twice takes a few seconds for those who want a complicated setup but Joe random user will sit there and read each and every configure screen thoroughly and will wonder if he needs slapd configured. Even worse I expect a lot of bug reports because slapd does not run which I have to close because there is just no configuration file. cu Torsten
