Taking over icecast-server

Hi,

That's now 10 months since I uploaded the last of my 3 NMUs to the
icecast-server package, backporting a huge set of patches to fix important
security issues, adding minimal debconf support to fix broken outputs, and
fixing other annoying bugs that were lying in the package. The maintainer
never answered to my emails since, and never acknowledged the (4 !)
consecutive NMUs.

Bug #165594 [1], tagged +security, was opened 4 months ago, asking for the
new version. The maintainer, dmz, never answered to the bug report, as he
seemed to ignore my previous mails, reports and NMU.

For these many reasons, I firmly believe dmz is MIA (I'm also referring to
[2] to get to this conclusion), and I'd like to take over icecast-server and
icecast-client packages. Would someone disagree if I went on and uploaded a
new release of these packages (which needs quite some work now...) ?

ps. Sorry if you get this twice, I seem to have some MTA problems.
