  Description     : Mappings and menus for writting Perl scripts in Vim.

perl-support is a vim add-on that aids Perl programmer in:
   - inserting various types of comments
   - inserting complete but empty statements (e.g. 'if {} else {}' )
   - inserting often used code snippets (e.g. declarations, the opening of files, .. )
   - inserting the names of file tests, character classes, special Perl-variables
     and POSIX-signals
   - reading, writing and maintaining his own code snippets in a separate directory
   - runing scripts or runing syntax check from within the editor
   - showing compilation erros in a quickfix window; navigate with hotkeys
   - reading perldoc for functions and modules

This package will (hopefully) conform to proposed Debian Vim Scripts Policy,
available at http://yacoob.dnsalias.net/sakwa/vim-policy.txt
