Messages that close bugs are, however, the place for documenting why bugs are being closed and when those messages come from changelogs that means that the changelogs ought to be more explicit too. In this case things would've been fine if the feature integrated upstream had done the same thing as the patch I originally submitted but in fact it didn't quite do so, breaking my setup.
