[ ObDevel: just to know if somebody else is working on packaging a
libpcre4 (I know, there is not ITP, but ...) ]

according to http://www.pcre.org the latest available version of
libpcre is 4.3. Debian already ships the latest version of the 3.x pcre
series but no package of the 4.x series.
Actually I need it because a package of mine (OCaml bindings to PCRE)
requires a 4.x series library.
Do you plan to package also "libpcre4"?
Do you know of someone else being working on it?
I'm not willing to package libpcre4, but maybe somebody else is ...
