The CVS logs show lots of recent imports of Xpdf 2.02 code, so I'd say
it's pretty similar.

Does it not support the Xpdf language handling? eg the files in
/usr/share/xpdf, /etc/xpdf etc. This seems to be pretty important to
many Debian users.
