Kannel is a gateway for connecting WAP (Wireless Application Protocol)
phones to the Internet. It also works as an SMS gateway, for providing
SMS based services for GSM phones.

Development and/or CVS versions are stable enough and encouraged to use 
to enable constant testing. CVS bugs are usually fixed in one or to days
and a lot of developers use stable CVS versions in production.
