I would strongluy pbject to promoting non-free software in
the Packages file, and promoting non free software when people are
making a choice as to whether the package should be installed.
I find this cure much, much, worse than the disease, where we
are at best ignoring a single line advertizemnt that appears in
upstream
In this latter case, the Debian developer is actually
advertizing the non-free software.
