Of course not, I had hoped to make that clear.
It is a matter of weighting a benefit for the quality of the
distribution ("Our Priorities are Our Users...", i.e. "Having a
working relationship with the upstream author" versus one for
dvdrecord ("... and Free Software).
Of course this oversimplifies matters, people buying cdrtools-prodvd
could be counted as financing the continous development of the GPL'd
cdrtools.
Has anybody even asked the author of dvdrtools if he'd be happy with
this change?
