The name of the package is misleading. It is called amavis, and people
think that this is the official amavis release. It is not. amavisd-new
is the work of a single developer who chose to leave the amavis
development path and didn't want to continue with the "official"
amavis developers.
The developers of amavis have decided to go for a more modular way,
and amavis-ng, also a Debian package, is the result of these
development efforts. People are very confused by not getting the
official version after doing apt-get amavis.
I would therefore like to ask you to rename the amavis package.
