Re: Get rid of /etc/mtab ?
I posted the original message because:
- I'm tired of invalid entries in /etc/mtab (and in output of mount without
args) after umount -l. Unfortunatly, often umount -l seems to be the only
way to unmount NFS filesystem (otherwise I get "Device or resource busy,
although fuser -m returns nothing).
- There was a recent thread here about autogenerated files in /etc.
