Re: 2.4.18-686 freezes on a Dell Inspiron 4100 (but not 2.4.18-bf2.4)



My original posting was about the stock 2.4.18-686 kernel (not
2.4.18-686-smp). It should _not_ have SMP enabled (haven't checked
yet), but the freeze problems are with that kernel (with or without
noapic option), not with bf2.4.
