I've written a couple of scripts which are designed to create xdelta diffs of debian packages. These could conceivably be used to create a delta repository, vastly reducing the download amount for an update/upgrade. For example (this is one of the worst cases): 15141756 tetex-doc_1.0.2+20011202-2_all.deb 15019610 tetex-doc_1.0.2+20011202-3_all.deb 34036 tetex-doc_1.0.2+20011202-2_1.0.2+20011202-3_all.dd A savings of over 99.7% :) -- Taral <taral@taral.net> This message is digitally signed.
