The #DEBHELPER# token expands to a call to db_purge (and update-menu,
but we don't care), and this call was returning an error code when
called after the font removal code which outputs one or more messages
to stdout.
When the call to db_purge is done before the font removal (thus before
output to stdout), it returns successfully and the package is purged.
