FWIW, I _never_ reply to those.  If people have them and want to make
me do work to contact them, it's their loss.  It'd be a sad day the
day we require that from our users.

you are being silly.  that a host can't receive mail does not mean its
owner can't configure a MTA.  Firewalls, for instance may be in the way.
