Are you sure?  The version listed on the website
(http://packages.debian.org/cgi-bin/search_packages.pl?keywords=libc6&searchon=names&subword=1&version=all&release=all)
is 2.2.5-6.

I used jigdo to create the Woody CDs, but the libc6 in
woody-i386-1_NONUS.jigdo referred to libc6_2.2.5-6_i386.deb, not -10.

The jigdo files were the so-called "official" ones from Europe
(http://non-us.cdimage.debian.org/jigdo-area/current/jigdo/ linked from
http://www.debian.org/CD/jigdo-cd/).

Although (as I said to debian-boot), the README file on the CD said it was a
"non-official version".  Something is odd here.
