GNUTLS upstream also seem keen, so I will carry on extending it.

It will quite possibly appear as part of the libgnutls-extra library
(the GPL-only part of GNUTLS). (NB: for those that didn't know the core
GNUTLS library is LGPL as from release 0.4.2).
