debian's infrastructure currently has no method for automagically
recognizing "there's a grave security bug against the version of this
package, but none against the unstable version, maybe we should update
woody"

that makes this situation kinda cut, huh, but i'm confident it'll be
resolved before woody's release; in fact, it's probably the least of the
problems being actively worked on for woody now, eh
