First of all, it's not even for GNU, just Linux btw.
Why it's only for Linux?
Easy one. MP3 is philosophically so impure that no _real_ GNU/Hurd user
would touch it. They all use OGG/Vorbis. So in order not to tempt some
of the more religiously uncertain Hurd Users, it will not work at all
with this 'kernel'.
Of course I strongly suggest that it will be made available for
Debian Win32.
