Understanding update_output.txt (or why isn't sylpheed going to woody?)

Hello all,

Some time ago I was puzzled because gpgme was a Valid candidate
to enter woody but was not going. Someone explained that sylpheed
sylpheed-claws and gpgme had to enter woody together so that woody
won't break as the new sylpheeds depend on a version of the library
which only exists in sid.

Now everything is fine and after solving a little problem with S/390
which required binary NMUs to be done by the a porter, all three
packages are Valid Candidates. But this is so for more than three
days now and I am getting worried...

update_excuses says nothing useful for solving this problem and
update_output.txt says:

some 'skipped: package' things happen to all three packages... below
are the last ones and what follows them:

skipped: sylpheed (0) (71+17)
    got: 12+0: a-12
    * alpha: sylpheed

is anyone able to explain all this thing? it would be good to
have some documentation... my eyes are not fast on a language
I don't know (python) to learn this from the code.
