ITO: appindex
I'm going to orphan package 'appindex'. Upstream seems dead to me
and the last version (0.7) was released April 21st, 2000. Sad,
because Martin Hinner (upstream author) wrote The Filesystem HOWTO
(http://www.penguin.cz/~mhi/fs/) as well, which is a nice piece
(last version 0.7.5, updated August 22nd, 2000).
The package has numerous bugs. Upstream source needs further
development to be usable, freshmeat entries are updated daily
though. Build system feels rigid and clumsy at the same time.
If you feel brave enough to take over this package, speak up now,
or I will request the removal of appindex in no more than two
weeks.
