Hi! I'm packaging mod_auth_shadow. It uses a setuid binary to be able to read /etc/shadow. Upstream installs it in /usr/sbin, but I don't think this is a very good idea since it's not meant to be used from cmdline and it might clash with some command sometime (it's name is "validate"). I'm not sure where to put it. The following come to my mind: /usr/lib/libapache-mod-auth-shadow/validate /usr/lib/apache/validate /usr/lib/apache/mod_auth_shadow/validade /usr/sbin/validate What do you think? regards Marcin -- Marcin Owsiany <porridge@debian.org> http://marcin.owsiany.pl/ GnuPG: 1024D/60F41216 FE67 DA2D 0ACA FC5E 3F75 D6F6 3A0D 8AA0 60F4 1216
